EIDBI Provider Training: Requirements & Completion Guide

✅ Mandatory Training for All EIDBI Providers

All EIDBI providers must complete:

• Mandated Reporting – Vulnerable Adults (DHS Online Course & Exam)

• Mandated Reporting – Children (MN Child Welfare Training Academy) - (Select Blue Training)

• Motivity Onboarding (BT/RBT® Training)

• Cultural Responsiveness in ASD Services (See details below)

• ASD Strategies in Action (See details below)

• EIDBI 101: Overview of the Benefit (See details below)

📌 Important: Minnesota requires all providers to complete initial mandated reporter training. Renewal is not required, but providers are responsible for staying current by reviewing updated materials and following DHS and employer guidelines.

🔍 How to Complete: Cultural Responsiveness in ASD Services

This course is available on TrainLink. You’ll need a unique key to register. If you don’t have one, request it here:

To access the course:

1. Go to TrainLink – DSD Learning Center

2. Select Course Catalog

3. Search for course code: “ASDCULTURE”

4. Click the course

5. Select Course Content

6. Enter your Unique Key and click OK

7. Click Start Course

🔍 How to Complete: ASD Strategies in Action

This free course series is offered by the Autism Certification Center and includes:

• Many Faces of Autism

• Foundations of Evidence-Based Strategies (for toddler/preschool, school-age, and transition-age)

To register:

1. Visit the Autism Certification Center

2. Click "Get Started" (top right)

3. Fill out your account info using your own unique email

4. Create your account

Once registered, you’ll have access to all modules. You can go at your own pace, pause anytime, and track your progress via your dashboard.
